Campfire Recieves NeoCon Gold

We are excited to announce that Turnstone won a Gold award for the Campfire Paper Table within the occasional table category at Neocon. Designed by Tim Stoepker and Kirt Martin, the Paper Table is the heart of the Campfire story – it supports the story of sitting around the campfire sharing stories and engaging ideas informally. Check out the images of the show to get a glimpse of the vibes around this product coming out Winter 2009.

The thinking behind the Campfire Collection’s is inspired by the way emerging companies are thinking about their workspace. They get inspired by what they see, touch and experience in their every day life and Campfire seeks to blend emotional and physical elements of those experiences into the workplace. Building a strong community and supporting informal work styles are key needs that Campfire is designed to enable. Consisting of simple elements to use and understand like a big table, a big sofa or a big lamp, this preview of Campfire is illustrated as island-like vignettes that recall real-life experiences to help users create big ideas in their work life.
